I can't really help you, but reasonable amount is different for everybody. I would think you should research outfitters in KS or KY.

The simplest would probably be Texas, but 150s might be a stretch.

all the texas ranches Ive looked at charge way too much for any buck close to what im looking for, I cant see paying 6 to 8K for a 150" deer, looks like Ky, Mo and Il are more more reasonable priced but a 150 will prob be tougher to find.

If I were gonna pay for a hunt like this, I wouldnt consider anywhere but the outfitter Carl Fricks uses in Saskatchewan. Of course "reasonably prices" is subjective. By the time you include flight (yeah I know you wanna drive) and tips, it would probably be close to 7 grand. No trophy fees though no matter if you shoot a 200 incher

MO, IL, KY, OH if you want to go this year. Either way a 150 is a tall order.

If I go somewhere.......it will be with Fat Racks.......they are 4 friends who bought a cabin and some property.....they live in New Hampshire and use this outfitting business to pay for the lease........so essentially they hunt for free........they put in TONS of work out there....

I think it is around 2K for a hunt...........they basically will drop you off and pick you up whenever you want........not sure about food......but they do have a cabin......

He did tell me no way he would pay for my beer.....

I’m kinda in the same boat. I have 4 preference points for Iowa
but have not found the right outfitter for me just yet. Dang prices
have gone up soo much the last few years. I’d like to do Kansas also
but most hunts will be 5 k range. Only outfitter I’ve hunted with in Illinois
Is Eagle Lake outfitters. We killed a couple 140 plus but they were a smaller
outfit back then. They have some great properties around Pike county
