It's all expensive and time consuming now. Basketball sucks us dry. But she loves playing. I love watching her. So we just do it.

Iím gonna encourage my little girl to show cows or goats rather than play sports. That way we can eat em after show seasons over!

My son is 3 this year and is playing rec t-ball, it was only $60 for rec fees, bought a helmet, bat, glove, cleats and probably have $160 or so in it.

Went through all that with my son. He played everything but never stuck with one particular sport. My oldest daughter cheered a little bit but showing/riding horses was her thing. My youngest girl is big time into gymnastics and competes. It's year round and not cheep. Kids aren't cheap.

I’ve spent a pile of money on my daughters tennis lessons this past year. And that’s a small fraction of her school dues. I friends that pay a ton on softball and travel baseball

Can't remember if you graduated Gatewood, or John Hancock, they probably paid you.

It was probably because Barney was the first one to get a free ride, and he was a freshman when HOQ was a senior
