all those things really look ok from my inspection. he didnt even get it to 3/4 draw when it slipped. i just need the string put back on. tell me how to do it.

Elk or Mulies in a field maybe. But whitetails in the woods at 70 yards. Yeah, I have slung at 2 right at 50 yards and wiffed em both. One do to wrong distance and the other shot was perfect. Deer got out of the way before the arrow got there. Not just ducked, but ducked AND turned around and was clear as the arrow went right across her chest and stuck into the hill directly behind where her front leg was when i touched the release. There's just a lot that can happen in the 1 1/2 seconds it takes the arrow to get there. I will never again fling an arrow at a deer out to 50 yards.

I practice at 50 a lot myself. Makes a 30 yd and 40yd shot much easier
